We threw a party to celebrate our daughter's wedding in June this year (2010) at the Ottawa Rowing Club and were SO lucky to have Larry play for us. He played beautiful background music throughout the evening, including some requests and even accompanied us on a couple of sing-a-longs. Larry was the perfect addition to our special party.
Larry Tarof was hired as a solo act for my father's 80 Year Birthday Bash. His repertoire of piano songs is so vast that he was able to play, by request, music for each decade from the 1920's to the present. My dad and his 100 guests appreciated hearing the well played music that brought back memories.
Dr. L is a true professional. He came on time, was dressed smartly, and had all his necessary equipment. He set up quickly and quietly and required no direction in playing at appropriate moments. At one point, when the audio of our slide presentation failed, Larry quickly filled in with live music without having previously viewed the visuals Amazing!
We look forward to other events where we can be entertained by this talented musician. I can highly recommend Larry Tarof for any event.
